David.Pool@kp.org helped resolve the problem. Copying the servlet.jar file from the %TOMCAT_HOME%\lib\common folder to the axis\WEB_INF\lib folder, and restarting Tomcat seems to have gotten things working. Thank you for the quick response. Ted Podelnyk
