There was a change done for Bug 54720: Support for Row/Col Area Range like 8:8
or H:H, r1514812, which seems to have fixed this by not calling parseColRef()
any more in this case. 

Therefore I am closing this as FIXED for now, please report any other issues
that you might encounter.
