[jira] [Created] (UIMA-2669) UIMA-AS service doesnt seem the exit
the JVM on request
Jerry Cwiklik created UIMA-2669:
-----------------------------------
Summary: UIMA-AS service doesnt seem the exit the JVM on <stop> request
Key: UIMA-2669
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2669
Project: UIMA
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Async Scaleout
Affects Versions: 2.4.0AS
Reporter: Jerry Cwiklik
Assignee: Jerry Cwiklik
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.4.1AS
The UIMA-AS used to exit the jvm when a user typed 's' or 'q' in the shell connected to service's input stream. This was a convenient mechanism to stop a service launched on a remote machine.
