2.0.0 (Alpha) Release

I'm going to spending some time in the next day or so trying to push
things towards a release (hopefully releasing later this afternoon or
tomorrow), unless anyone objects. I'm curious what other people think
we need to do prior to this?

I'm going to start by putting some time into the website/docs. Let me
know if you have anything else,

There's also this [1], which I had initially started with.

I'll look at all three tonight and document things here [2].

I've copied an initial set from [1] and will continue from there.

I'd suggest starting with the Struts process...

http://www.nabble.com/Is-there-a-documented-release-process-for-Struts-2--tf2897387.html

and

http://cwiki.apache.org/WW/creating-and-signing-a-distribution.html

It seems pretty tight to me, even if Wendy indicates that it's a work in
progress...

If you think you have a process for doing a release I'd say go for it and we
can change the process along the way if we need to. But, since we don't yet
have a defined process I would ask you to document closely everything you do
so it can be repeated :-)

Do you have a cwiki account?

Err... I meant "it is not fundamental", sorry for the (absence of)
grammar rules.

Great! I have no objections, I only noticed a new (small) issue with
attributes defined using <tiles:putAttribute> while programming the
showcase (it seems to propagate to the entire request, and it is not
confined inside the parent tag), but I think that it does fundamental
to release an alpha version.
I am still preparing my local environment (the move across Italy
shocked my pc a bit :-) ), so I will try to reproduce the problem and
open some (not critical) JIRA issues.
