Successfull build on Ubuntu
Hi all
I just let you know, that I'm just finnished a build at a ubuntu vm.
Thanks for the Help. Next I will give Windows a try.

Patricia updated the windows guide recently. Mac OS is in my opinion the
worse documented.

sorry, of course I meant preparing and building on Windows as the more
difficult part.

Well Ubuntu is relativly easy, I frear Windows. It seams also, that the
building guide is a bit outdate for Windows. But I have to take a deep
breath and just try it.
But generaly speaking, the entry level at Apache OpenOffice is very
height. A newby has a realy hard time. Sometimes I miss the IRC Channel.
I don't know, but I think we should reactivate this.

Yes, I guess most of it is because I use Arch Linux which is not binary
compatible with mainstream Distros.
I have an idea to solve my current problem with a dirty workaround. So I
can at least can say I am able to build.
