Enable Matomo Web Analytics
Hi,
Recently ASF set up a hosted instance of Matomo providing web analytics for ASF project’s websites [1].
WDYT about enabling web analytics with Matomo to learn more about our visitors?
That would require including some Javascript similar to what was done for Maven recently in [2] to our websites.
In addition we would need to link the ASF Privacy Policy [3].
IMHO that would allow us to gather some interesting statistics and as it this seems to comply with GDPR regulations pretty well and removal requests would be handled by Apache IIUC.
I already received a site id in https://the-asf.slack.com/archives/C033Q7QGF32/p1646677158997109 <https://the-asf.slack.com/archives/C033Q7QGF32/p1646677158997109>.
WDYT?
Konrad

This is now live on FileVault (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCRVLT-612) and Oak (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-9725).
Reports should be visible at https://matomo.privacy.apache.org/index.php?module=CoreHome&action=index&date=yesterday&period=day&idSite=4#?period=day&date=yesterday&category=Dashboard_Dashboard&subcategory=1
Still outstanding is the update for JR2 (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-4772).
