   I've figured out a solution: set the relavant axis again after the datasetIndex is changed, and then the order in the axis will change correctly. Here is a demo:  https://jsfiddle.net/Charlllles/zbm5gn93/18/
   
   Anyway, the problem cost me hours, and I hope this can be documented.
