[jira] [Commented] (LUCENE-9502) Can we remove JaspellLookup?

Cassandra Targett commented on LUCENE-9502:
-------------------------------------------

I linked SOLR-13230, the issue to figure out what to do with Jaspell in Solr. It is related to LUCENE-8638 and SOLR-13138, both ongoing efforts to clean up and remove deprecated code from master before 9.0.

> We deprecated JaspellLookup in version 4.9 - I do wonder if it's time to get rid of it? I can see it's still used in solr but I don't see if it's deprecated there.
