Different usage pattern for Cocoon.

Hi!
I'd like to use Cocoon like this:
1. Someone calls my servlet (not Cocoon)
2. The servlet decides that the appropriate response resides in A.xml which
should be formatted using A1.xsl; A.xml itself contains NO stylesheet
reference; In fact, it could be formatted using multiple stylesheets
depending on the request.
3. This request is sent to Cocoon to process.
4. My servlet sends the processed output back to the browser.

I've gone thru all the examples and docs but can't figure out how to do
this.
Can anyone help?

Thanks!
- Navneet
