[jira] [Created] (SPARK-53310) Fix resolveExprsAndAddMissingAttrs missing attributes logic
Mihailo Aleksic created SPARK-53310:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Fix resolveExprsAndAddMissingAttrs missing attributes logic
Key: SPARK-53310
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-53310
Project: Spark
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: SQL
Affects Versions: 4.0.0
Reporter: Mihailo Aleksic
Fix For: 4.1.0
In this query
SELECT a, (SELECT b FROM VALUES (1, 2) AS innerTestData (all, b) ORDER BY ALL) FROM testData;
sorting condition ALL should be pushed down. Instead of pushing down attribute with name ALL (which is actually missing) we push all, attribute from the hidden output (which is incorrect). In this issue I propose that we fix that.
