release this weekend?

There have been 91 changes logged since the last "minor" release
and I don't think anyone is working on something that needs to be
in this one. Do we have the people to do a tarball on Saturday
and release on Monday if it looks good? I can do the tarball and
release announcement. Assuming there isn't some nasty problem that
somebody has secretly been working on, that means we need people to:

   1) test the current 1.3 repository before Saturday;
   2) prepare the Win32 install script;
   3) test the tarball;
   4) sign the distribution.

I think so.

Before this goes to press (so to speak)..

Do we still want the 'beta' warning in the Win32 installer
and README file?

Don't forget to involve the current-testers and stable-testers
lists. Also, have we come to a conclusion about binary
distributions? How many people have tested Lars' binbuild
thing? (I'm going to try it to-day..) And finally, did
we come to any conclusion about the signing of the release?
I recall a lot of handwaving on the subject, but I can't
research it right now..

Otherwise, +1.

The current CVS tree as of 11:34PM PST is running on taz. Feel free to
test the con-neg stuff of course, since I'm a masochist and have my
DirectoryIndex set to "index".  :)

I upgraded three busy sites to the current CVS tonight. No nasties so
far.
