   Thanks for the feedback but I don't think that's what the issue is. My app isn't making any web requests when it crashes, i'm just picking answers to questions in a form until it breaks. 
   
   For a temporary workaround I just made all Android 8.0 devices that use my app signup on a web page overlay. Every other version of Android I've tested doesn't crash, and the google play stats back this up.
