[jira] [Created] (ACE-421) Do not bump repository version when
nothing is changed in commit
J.W. Janssen created ACE-421:
--------------------------------
Summary: Do not bump repository version when nothing is changed in commit
Key: ACE-421
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACE-421
Project: ACE
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Repository
Reporter: J.W. Janssen
Assignee: J.W. Janssen
When something is committed to a repository, it always gets a new version regardless whether an actual change has been committed. This makes it hard to detect whether something was actually changed in a repository (for example, to detect whether we need to update other shops).
The version of a repository should only be bumped in case of real changes.
