Why are you putting your website inside the mnt, because only root on
your system has access to /mnt/.
What is your Document root. if for instance your Document root
is /usr/local/apache/html/htdocs/
I suggest that you create a link as follows
ln -s /wwww /usr/local/apache/html/htdocs
then do the following for your website
<VirtualHost *:80>
<Directory /www/website>
Options FollowSymLinks Indexes ExecCGI
AllowOverride None
</Directory>
ServerAdmin webmaster@wack.co.za
DocumentRoot /www/website
ServerName website.com
ServerAlias www.website....(e.g www.website.com)
</VirtualHost>
