[jira] [Commented] (OAK-3698) Make it easier to monitor state of
observation queue
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-3698?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15171934#comment-15171934 ]
Teodor Rosu commented on OAK-3698:
----------------------------------
In the OAK-3478 and OAK-3654 context:
IIUC: This improvement translates to exposing the stats already available for observation / event listeners ( ConsolidatedListenerMbean and others ) using the new oak core stats api ( OAK-3654 ). This should simplify monitoring with external tools.

> As suggest offline by [~ianeboston]:
> expose some stats (not time series!) to make it easier to monitor the state of the observation queue, in particular:
> * number of items in queue
> * number of items entering queue
> * number of items leaving queue
> * percentage of queue size compared to the upper limit by when events get collapsed
