[jira] [Commented] (KAFKA-6884) ConsumerGroupCommand should use new
AdminClient

Attila Sasvari commented on KAFKA-6884:
---------------------------------------
[~hachikuji] consumer-groups.sh currently uses {{kafka.admin.ConsumerGroupCommand}}. Shall I modify {{ConsumerGroupCommand}} class so that it imports KafkaAdminClient and uses the new methods introduced by KIP-222? I believe we don't want to add a main method to KafkaAdminClient and adjust the shell script itself.
What is the target version? If it is 2.0, then shall I also remove support for --zookeeper (old consumer)?

> Now that we have KIP-222, we should update consumer-groups.sh to use the new AdminClient.
