Here is a long line

There was a long line

Now when it shows up in the moderation queue (assuming you've got the tracker configured to put such comments into the moderation queue) you won't be able to see the link to the ticket# -- it's pushed off the right along with the column headers.

Problem occurs in firefox and IE. Problem *does not* occur in chrome.

Similar problem occurs on microsoft's "connect" bugtracker site as well. Caring does not occur at microsoft HQ.

For bonus points, see if you can enter my example in this markdown editor without going nuts. After it goes nuts, undo undoes too much. I have no idea what it's doing. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is pretty much the worst editor I've used in my life. I'd rather have a plain textarea.

Could you provide a screenshot of this bug in Firefox if possible?

Sure, I can use the preview button to see what it looks like before posting. I was describing how frustrating it was to enter in the text I wanted to enter, so I submitted all my failed attempts. Anyway, thanks for showing me which component it is. I'll go send my 100 complaints about it to them.

Anyway, I've attached a picture of the layout bug happening in firefox.

[allura:tickets] Re: #8110 moderation queue items with long lines break layout

Posted by Rohan Verma <ro...@gmail.com>.
But isn't this a syntax of markdown?

Sample Heading
-----------------------

Sample without that heading

-------------------------------------

This was turned into a page break^

>WYSIWYG editor

But it is not a WYSIWYG editor, according to https://github.com/NextStepWebs/simplemde-markdown-editor it is a:

>WYSIWYG-esque editor allows users who may be less experienced with Markdown to use familiar toolbar buttons and shortcuts [link](https://github.com/NextStepWebs/simplemde-markdown-editor#simplemde---markdown-editor)

You can always click the Preview button (the eye) to see how it will look after you post the comment.

Now I see you can't even see the horizontal rule composed of dashes which showed up in the supposedly WYSIWYG editor. Let's try again
