[jira] [Comment Edited] (VALIDATOR-412) No options for Pseudo TLD

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VALIDATOR-412?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15831674#comment-15831674 ]

{{.local}} is a reserved TLD for a special usecase, link local addressed with mDNS. {.pvt} is an invalid TLD. You can provide a custom {{RegexValidator}} if you like.

> It is currently impossible to validate URL's that have pseudo TLDs such as .local or .pvt. They will always result in invalid URLs. It would be nice to have an option to accept these pseudo TLDs.
