Setting up build status email from Jenkins to dev@knox

Hi Devaraj,
I would like to enable build emails on the Jenkins bugs I emailed about
earlier. I have a question and a request.

Question) Since the instructions are clear to callout TLP does that mean
that a podling cannot take advantage of this capability?

Request) If we can do this I believe you (because you are the moderator)
need to send an email to
dev-allow-subscribe-jenkins=builds.apache.org@knox.apache.org
Once that is done I can change the job configurations to send email.

Kevin.

Hi Chris, yes I logged in at the people.apache.org machine and then
sent the email. Maybe Kevin's point on the TLP is right. Only TLPs can
get this subscription?

Hi Devaraj,

I've checked the mail moderators for knox since I have apmail karma:

Looks like devaraj and jspeidel are the only mods. Devaraj did you send
from

your ASF account? If not, then you won't hear back I believe. You need to
send
from a mod address.

As for the Jenkins job, who needs Jenkins karma so that they can set up the
job? I also have karma to grant that and can easily do it, just need to
know
who needs it (Apache UIDs)

Cheers,
Chris

I have sent an email to knox-allow-subscribe-jenkins=
builds.apache.org@knox.incubator.apache.org. Haven't heard back anything
yet. Is the jenkins job set up yet? The next set of instructions have to be
executed there.
