[jira] [Created] (FLINK-6724) Include function class name in UserDefinedFunctionUtils exceptions

Chesnay Schepler created FLINK-6724:
---------------------------------------

             Summary: Include function class name in UserDefinedFunctionUtils exceptions
                 Key: FLINK-6724
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-6724
             Project: Flink
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Table API & SQL
    Affects Versions: 1.4.0
            Reporter: Chesnay Schepler
            Priority: Trivial

The {{UserDefinedFunctionUtils #checkForInstantiation}} checks whether a given function can be instantiated. If this is not the case it throws an exception like this:

{code}
org.apache.flink.table.api.ValidationException: Function class is not public.
{code}

It would be nice to include the class name in the exception.
