[jira] [Created] (CB-7635) Plugin auto tests missing for 3.6.3
recommended plugin versions
Angela Fowler created CB-7635:
---------------------------------
Summary: Plugin auto tests missing for 3.6.3 recommended plugin versions
Key: CB-7635
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-7635
Project: Apache Cordova
Issue Type: Bug
Components: mobile-spec
Affects Versions: 3.6.0
Reporter: Angela Fowler
I set up a cordova-mobile-spec project using createmobilespec.js with plugin versions as listed in the 3.6.3 news
e.g. cordova-plugin-camera: 0.3.1
Many of the plugin tests seem to be missing e.g.
https://github.com/apache/cordova-plugin-camera/tree/r0.3.2/tests
does not exist in
https://github.com/apache/cordova-plugin-camera/tree/r0.3.1
The camera tests are no longer in the autotest folder of cordova-mobile-spec as they were for 3.4
https://github.com/apache/cordova-mobile-spec/blob/3.4.x/autotest/tests/camera.tests.js
Is there a report showing how many tests passed for 3.6? A mobilespec project set up with the newer plugins had ~400 specs under Plugin Auto Tests. When the older plugins were used there were only 147 specs.
Has 3.6 been tested with the newer versions of plugins? Should/could these be used instead?
The plugins release on the same day i.e. 22 Sep has the newer plugin versions.
