Bookkeeper 4.9...
Hi Bookkeepers !
Any plan to volunteer for being release manager of 4.9 ?
I will be happy to help any one who wants to try for the first time...

Awesome.
I have created another important task for the new metadaserviceuri
configuration
https://github.com/apache/bookkeeper/issues/1897
We can release 4.9 without such docs by if someone in the community has
some cycle it will be a great step forward for the adoption of this new
features

As discussed in the pull request, the ExplicitLAC related change will go to
4.10.
I have cleaned up all the 4.9.0 issues. The pending issue for 4.9.0 is the
binary metadata format.
Once that is merged, I will start the release for 4.9.0.

I would like to include transparent support for ExplicitLAC on the reader side.

before spending time in a hurry I would like to know if the idea as

It is a client side change, no read protocol changes, which I would
