[jira] Updated: (TAPESTRY-1856) Add localization support to
DateField
Howard M. Lewis Ship updated TAPESTRY-1856:
-------------------------------------------
Priority: Major (was: Trivial)
Issue Type: Bug (was: Improvement)
Summary: Add localization support to DateField (was: Localized default format pattern for DateField)
I've updated the bug to reflect the *new* DateField component, as per TAPESTRY-2069. It does not yet have good localization support on the client side.

> Key: TAPESTRY-1856
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-1856
> Project: Tapestry
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: tapestry-core
> Affects Versions: 5.0.6
> Reporter: Harald Geritzer
>
> Would be a nice feature if the DateField component would provide a localized default pattern instead of the hardcoded "%m/%d/%y" pattern (especially when used in BeanEditor/Form)
