I think that the <nested:messages> Tag shall work as follows:

<nested:messages message="true">
  <nested:write property="this/" />
</nested:messages>

But the TLD say's that an 'id' attribute in the <nested:messages> Tag is 
required. This is different from the <nested:iterate> Tag.
