Using the regexp taglib problem

Hi, I'm trying to use the taglib regexp and create a example using the tags
regexp and text. However using the examples I keep getting a
MalformedPatternException from the statement
<rx:regexp id="rx1">m/test1/mi</rx:regexp>  .  Would you know what I'm
doing wrong or not doing right ?  I've loaded the ant, J2ee server,
deploytool, and cloudscape.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
