Still happens in version 2.2.1
Effective pom specifies resources plugin 2.3
"mvn help:describe -Dplugin=resources" downloads and lists help for version 2.4.1
In any case this FAQ entry seems wrong: http://maven.apache.org/general.html#plugin-version
