Disabling default ignores.
Hi all.
I'd like to completely disable svn ignores. I've tried setting
global-ignores to the empty string in all my config files, I've tried
calling svn with --no-ignore, I've made sure my svn:ignore property is
not set, anywhere. Yet, svn status still returns "I" for files with a ~
at the end. I need it to treat these files just like any other files,
and I have absolutely no need for the ignores feature.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
-David

Honestly? Don't use these files.
It's a temp/backup files created by cp and some other programms/commands.
It's a good habit to avoid treating common things differently for yourself.
Saving you a ton of time if you would need to invite someone in collaboration,
or even just make your work public.

I would have thought that would work. Try setting global-ignores to a
value that would never match, like "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx".

I certainly would have thought that would work.
