Friday Maven Call

Same time of the day as a couple days ago.

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meetingdetails.html?year=2009&month=6&day=19&hour=15&min=0&sec=0&p1=250&p2=224&p3=195&p4=240

We'll sort out another bridge as we need more room. I'll get that
published tomorrow and we'll pick one we can just use every week.

Thanks,

Jason

No problem, we'll start scheduling this at the same time for the
foreseeable future so that you can plan ahead.

Hi,
I'd like to participate but I have some job constraints. (in some countries
this time is happy hour time but not in France :-) ).
I have made some various tests with the trunk (with our projects and with
companies build) (thanks to benjamin for some quick fixes).

So for the record, I have the following issues with the current trunk :
- relocation (MNG-4197)
- extensions (custom packaging) (MNG-4201)
- authz when deploying
- dependency:tree failed (MNG-4187 some backward comp has been restored but
there is still a NoSuchMethodError)

Thanks,

You know there's no time that works for everyone :) Which is why I
don't really favour the approach, but I can try and make it
occasionally as long as it doesn't become a requirement for keeping
up. I know I'm in the minority geographically for now, and I'm not
working on anything on trunk until it reaches parity with 2.1.x.

If it was just an update so far that's fine, but please ensure someone
takes minutes at the next one to post here. It has to be in text so
people can participate asynchronously, search it later, etc.

No, I don't want to rotate it. Let's just find a time that works for
everyone. It's too hard for people to schedule when it's changing all
the time. Seems to work best at Eclipse when people can plan ahead
several weeks/months at a time.

The call was recorded so we'll post that in lieu of notes. The call
was an overview of the work done which was primarily performance and
integration testing.

Any chance of rotating it? I'm not sure I can take two late night
calls in a week (unless I happen to be up with the baby, but then you
don't want me off mute :).

I also didn't see any notes posted from the last one? That really has
to be an essential part of doing this - particularly for the purpose
of recording any decisions made.
