Fwd: Deprecating file based authorization.
Hey all,
Sentry has deprecated file based authorization. Impala currently has
options to enable this, so I've opened this Jira
<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-7456> to log a warning when
the flag is used and that it will be removed in the future. One of the
reasons for this is to ultimately provide finer grained control via user
level privileges. The file-based authorization does not support privileges
for users. Let me know if you have any questions.
