FileSystemPreferences exception

Hi,

I see the following error messages showing up continuously with jmeter 2.3.1.
How should I debug and fix it?

Dec 11, 2007 10:06:07 AM java.util.prefs.FileSystemPreferences syncWorld
WARNING: Couldn't flush user prefs: java.util.prefs.BackingStoreException:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Not supported: indent-number
Dec 11, 2007 10:06:37 AM java.util.prefs.FileSystemPreferences syncWorld
WARNING: Couldn't flush user prefs: java.util.prefs.BackingStoreException:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Not supported: indent-number

I was running the same script on jmeter 2.3 for quite some time and did not
see any problem.

Thanks,
Bo

Seems to be a Java bug:

hello,
here is a configuration where I see the same (harmless, afaik) messages if I
start JMeter from the console

Ubuntu 7.10 (2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Dec 18 08:02:57 UTC 2007 i686
GNU/Linux)

java version "1.6.0"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b105)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.6.0-b105, mixed mode)

thanks
Ivan

The java util preferences classes are used to save the last few
filenames that JMeter sees.

There's no way to configure this; just ignore the warnings.

However it would be useful to know which version of Java and OS you
are using, so we can perhaps fix this for the next release.
