[ANN] Xalan-C 0.40.0 posted to xml.apache.org

The latest developer release of Xalan-C has been posted to xml.apache.org.
This release features numerous bug fixes and enhancements.

To download the Win32 release, see:

    http://xml.apache.org/xalan-c/dist/Xalan-C_0_40_0-win32.zip

To download the Linux release, see:

    http://xml.apache.org/xalan-c/dist/Xalan-C_0_40_0-linux.tar.gz

This release was built with Xerces-C 1.2.0a, and is not guaranteed to work
with any other release of Xerces.  The Xerces binaries from that release
are included.

The sources for this build are tagged Xalan_0_40_0 in CVS.

Yet another API doc bug: The custom HTML header has to have this line in the 
<HEAD> section:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="doxygen.css">

BTW, either the api docs (http://xml.apache.org/xalan/c-apidocs/index.html) 
were not recreated, or carry the wrong version number. You need to set the 
variable PROJECT_NUMBER to 0.40 in the "Doxyfile".
