[Bug 57127] New: Getting TikaException in Jmeter while recording web
start application
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=57127
Bug ID: 57127
Summary: Getting TikaException in Jmeter while recording web
start application
Product: JMeter
Version: 2.11
Hardware: PC
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: HTTP
Assignee: issues@jmeter.apache.org
Reporter: naveen_kanuganti@infosys.com
Hi Team
We are using Jmeter 2.11 for recording the Java web start application ( .jnlp)
, in which we are able to record some requests successfully and for other
subsequent requests we are getting
the below errors in response
“org.apache.tika.exception.TikaException: XML parse error”
“Missing tika-app.jar in classpath. Unable to convert to plain text this kind
of document.
Download the tika-app-x.x.jar file from http://tika.apache.org/download.html
And put the file in <JMeter>/lib directory.”
As per the above response we have downloaded tika-app-1.6 jar file from website
, placed it in <Jmeter> lib directory and restarted the Jmeter. But still the
error is not resolved.
It would be really helpful if someone can provide pointers to sort out this
error.
Thanks
Naveen
