[GitHub] [cordova-common] breautek commented on pull request #175: Update fs-extra to version 10.0.0

breautek commented on PR #175:
URL: https://github.com/apache/cordova-common/pull/175#issuecomment-1146630937

Please make a PR directly, not through third party systems.

We have a pull request template that is expected to he followed that describes several details regarding the reason of the pull request, description of changes, the motivation and what it fixes, etc.

Third party software like jsfix doesn't follow these templates which will make it harder to analyze should there be an issue with this pull request down the road.

   > Breaking changes not automatically fixable by JSFIX.

I'm interpreting this as JSFix won't submit PRs that is breaking changes, however upgrading fs-extra to v10 is a breaking change as it changes the min nodejs version to 12 and this package still supports min nodejs 10 in it's current version.
