can't get variable "state" in expression workflow:state

it seems that the recent wf changes broke the wf input module for areas
that have no workflow (admin area, blog publication)

That's a hard one.

Until now, the above URLs were erroneously matched as documents.
I fixed this, but that kind-of opened Pandora's Box.

We'll have to find a new way to present the non-document pages in the
site area correctly.

Unfortunately, each menu item needs an href attribute.
I added it.

this has been fixed. the menu now shows, but there is a problem with the
create new blog entry (it is grayed out)

never mind it already does. it has this interesting "feature" to assign
"unknown" as a doctype:

	  <map:parameter name="value" value="unknown"/>

OK, I updated the DefaultDocumentBuilder accordingly.

i don't think the admin area should be considered a document

the blog publication needs to have a parameter-doctype.xmap then.

The problem is:

- The WorkflowResolver uses the DoctypeResolver to obtain the document type
of the current document. The document type is needed to determine the
   workflow schema.

Until now, this was not possible because the workflow factory was not an
Avalon component and therefore had no access to the DoctypeResolver.
That's why we had to pass the document type whenever we wanted to initialize
the workflow of a document. This is not necessary anymore.

- Resolving the document type fails in some cases:

   a) DefaultDocumentBuilder.isDocument() returns true for the admin area

If we consider this correct behaviour, we have to assign a valid
      doctype in parameter-doctype.xmap.

   b) in the Blog publication, the frontpage returns doctype "unknown"
and there is no declaration for doctype "unknown"

I think these issues should be taken care of.

WDYT?
