creating webapps outside webapps directory

Hello
I created a webapps outside tomcat and I changed the context path in
server.xml to point to the new absolute location. Right now everything is
fine and I can retrieve all the jsp pages?
Should I face any problems with creating session in the future? do I have to
make more changes in the configuration file?
