[ANN] James v2.2.0a17 Test Build available

James v2.2.0a17 is a test build for James v2.2.0, and is available for
immediate download.

This is a bug fix build. A bug was introduced to the DNS code in 2.2.0a16,
and is fixed in this build. The only other changes are

  - the addition of a ${DISPLAY_NAME} property for mailing list text
  - a correction to the sample mailing list configuration
  - a correction in a rare boundary case that could result in a
    watchdog timer never expiring.

If you were testing 2.2.0a16, you are encouraged to update to 2.2.0a17.

I would appreciate if someone could briefly explain the function of the
various files available in the download area:

I can see that there are tar and zip versions and I can see that there are
signatures to verify each file - so I am comfortable with that.

However, what is the difference in purpose (as opposed to content) between
the MailetSDK and the binary files? Is the SDK intended only for development
purposes or can it also be used for production, or are there reasons why it
should not be used in production? Are the various components in the binary
identical to those in the MailetSDK?

What is the purpose of having the sar as a separate download since it is
also included in the SDK and binary downloads?

Thanks,

Roy
