C# and .NET port of Shiro

Hello, everyone

As a side project, I've undertaken a C#/.NET port of Apache Shiro. I began this work shortly after the name change to Ki, and named my initial project KiSharp, as a play on Ki and C#. However, with the latest name change, I'm now considering what to rename my project to:
Shiro.NET - Follows many other .NET projects and ports, such as Spring.NET

NShiro - Modeled after NUnit, NHibernate, etc

Other?

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Additionally, as to the port itself, I haven't quite finished everything in shiro-core, but I'm getting close. Once I have the core completely ported and functional, anyone else who is interested in this work is certainly welcome to get involved. I'm keeping it silo'd for the moment just so simplify keeping it in sync with the main project while the core is ported.

For those who are curious, I'm building the port using Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5. Since this is a new project, it seems reasonable to build it against the current release of the .NET Framework.

Best regards,
Bryan Turner

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for posting this - it is definitely going to be sweet!

I'm assuming it is all Apache 2.0 licensed. Would you be able to contribute
this to this to the project? (Apache contributor license signed, etc)?

I prefer Shiro.NET for what it is worth...

Cheers,

Les
