[jira] Created: (DERBY-301) test harness does not work correctly when colons or spaces are in the directory name
test harness does not work correctly when colons or spaces are in the directory name
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: DERBY-301
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-301
Project: Derby
Type: Bug
Components: Test
Versions: 10.0.2.1
Reporter: Myrna van Lunteren
Assigned to: Myrna van Lunteren
Priority: Trivial
The test harness cannot handle directory names with spaces, or colons in them. In the case of colons, it appears the harness tries to resolve the strings as being a jdbc url.
This behavior should at the least be documented in the testing README.htm

Resolution: Won't Fix
As we are moving toward junit, and no one has volunteered to figure this out, I'm closing this with won't fix. If anyone disagrees, the issue can be reopened, of course.
