CloudStack 3.0.2 with 4.0 systemVM template?
Hi,
As I'm stuck with the 3.0.2->4.0 upgrade I've decided to drop 4.0 for now and stay with 3.0.2 in production.
However the 4.0 console-proxy systemVM follows screen resolution changes in 4.0 but not in 3.0.2 which is a major issue of ours.
Can anyone tell me whether using a 4.0 systemVM template with a 3.0.2 management server would resolve this issue?
Is it the systemVM.iso file needs replacing or the systemVM template?

I'm on vmware.
I've managed to recover from my crashed cloudstack so I can give another go to the 3.0.2->4.0 upgrade.

I'm really not sure that anything has changed. Did you use KVM or Xen? With KVM at least, the systemvm.iso used is on the agent, something like /usr/lib64/cloud/common/vms/systemvm.iso

The last thing I'm not sure about if I want to have a "new" console proxy than shall I use the new systemVM template or just replace the systemVM.iso file on the secondary storage?

I don't believe there is a 4.0-specific system VM template. At least the current 4.0 instructions still say to download the acton template from feb 2012.
