SVN and HTTPS (was: RuperSet ready for work ...)

Hello,
does HTTPS mean, that finally we can use SVN with a secure password on the
apache servers?

The 0.9 eclipse plugin is working for me,  but I changed to https from 
the command line with

svn -u me switch https:/svn.apache.org/.......

Yes, but the Eclipse plug-in (at least the version I use) doesn't seem to
like it.
