[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-6449) confluence email watch "daily" setting doesn't seem to be working

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6449?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13730762#comment-13730762 ]

Gavin commented on INFRA-6449:
------------------------------

You don't want autowatch either.

How about you log in as that user and just 'Star' the spaces you want updates on, that should be it.
Let me know how you get on.

> I attempted to follow the instructions posted below to setup a special role account for notifying the commits@lucene list with a daily summary of edits to the "SOLR" space...

> If this is a bug in the email preferences of our role user (and not a bug in the global confluence setup) please advise on what to fix.
> (FWIW: I'm not sure if this is related to the ongoing confluence upgrade (INFRA-6406) or if it's a more general problem that has existed for some time, so i've filed as a distinct issue.)
