[jira] [Created] (GERONIMO-5957) gserviceReg.sh does not work
gserviceReg.sh does not work
----------------------------
Key: GERONIMO-5957
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-5957
Project: Geronimo
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: general
Affects Versions: 3.0
Reporter: Jarek Gawor
Assignee: Jarek Gawor
The gserviceReg.sh does not work. It at least has two major issues. It refers to 'geronimo.sh' instead of 'geronimo' and the way the it checks for running Geronimo process is invalid and thinks the server is running when it's really not.

---------------------------------------
I updated the "Running Geronimo as a Linux service" wiki page to refer to the new script name.

Jarek Gawor commented on GERONIMO-5957:
---------------------------------------
Looks like I was looking at slightly older version of the script. In revision 1101830 I committed a bunch of changes the make the script a lot more sane to read and edit. In revision 1101834 I also renamed the gserviceReg.sh script to 'register-service' to make it more consistent with other existing scripts.
