No contribution in 3.5 years, I think we'll pass on this.

If you have a common set of tags you're always using, they can be easily copied-and-pasted from a text file, just like you would for any standard text you wish to include in blog articles.  Roller doesn't need to keep a holder for this information.  Also, people's browsers today normally do a good job in storing past entries--getting your set of favorite tags may be as simple as hitting the down arrow key within the tags entry field.

Including this functionality would overly clutter the blog entry page while not providing much additional functionality beyond which the browser offers, plus it would be a lot of work to create a separate tag family maintenance page.  I believe it would also encourage poor blogging habits--people attaching 50-60 tags to every blog article in an effort to maximize SEO.
