[jira] [Created] (BOOKKEEPER-298) We run with preferIPv4Stack in the scripts but not in the tests

Ivan Kelly created BOOKKEEPER-298:
-------------------------------------

Summary: We run with preferIPv4Stack in the scripts but not in the tests
                 Key: BOOKKEEPER-298
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BOOKKEEPER-298
             Project: Bookkeeper
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Ivan Kelly
            Assignee: Ivan Kelly
             Fix For: 4.2.0, 4.1.1

Bookkeeper doesn't work with IPv6, but if it's enabled, java will try to use it. We get around this by setting the java.net.preferIPv4Stack in the startup scripts but we don't set it for the tests.
