[jira] [Created] (EXTSCRIPT-159) Add scala language support if possible

Add scala language support if possible
--------------------------------------

                 Key: EXTSCRIPT-159
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/EXTSCRIPT-159
             Project: MyFaces Extensions Scripting
          Issue Type: New Feature
    Affects Versions: 1.0.3-SNAPSHOT
            Reporter: Werner Punz
            Assignee: Werner Punz

since we are now through with the refactoring how about a first goody, we now should be able to add new languages rather simple, by providing a compiler plugin
and adding an engine object for the reloading details (aka class detection, engine type identifier, file endings etc...)
As testing case I will add Scala language support now to the core.

Werner Punz commented on EXTSCRIPT-159:
---------------------------------------

Scala now working in a war environment, sorry EAR, but due to a scala design bug it is not possible for now to enable it there.
