Jackrabbit tomcat tutorial

Hi is the tutorial for jackrabbit on tomcat6
(http://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/JackrabbitOnTomcat6)
still valid for jackrabbit-webapp-2.6.5.war?

The war is deployed an accessable, but I am having trouble with connecting
the PersistenceManager and DbFileSystem to MySQL.
