user-agent not working

I've already reported it some time ago without getting a
reply but even under 1.8 the "user-agent" parameter (see FAQ)
doesn't work for me.

OK, I grepped through the sources and found the answer myself:
The request parameter is "user-Agent" and not "user-agent" as
stated in the FAQ ...
