RB is down at the moment. I have some incremental work on github, including an [example|https://github.com/ndimiduk/hbase/commit/c07c1c4f0187b78169b11f3a1ed20d9d268f5b65] of using {{HDataType}} in {{HRegionInfo}}.

I'm thinking I want to rename {{HDataType#\{read,write\}}} to {{HDataType#\{decode,encode\}}}. Thoughts?
