I often build from clean svn extracts to make sure everything is clean.  When I build the distribution, the build needs to download saxon etc. to be able to build the documentation.  This takes forever, and requires manual intervention.  Add a small ant script that allows you to copy the required files from a local directory to save some time during the build.
