How to checkin a patch to Kupu?

Dear all,

I just applied the patch supplied by Miguel Martin for Bug 33661 and
successfully confirmed that it solves the bug. So I would be ready to
commit and close the bug.

But it involves patching one of the files in the apache-lenya directory
of Kupu, which is not in our SVN as far as I can see ?!? (I remember
something like that.)

I am reluctant to check in only the usecase part of the patch as the two
changes belong together.

So what's the process here?

Regards,
Torsten

It's in there in the checkout. But svn info reveals the secret. The kupu
tree is in the codespeak.net repository. Which makes sense, as Kupu is
not an Apache project. It get's transparently checked out from there
when you checkout Lenya, this is why most people don't recognize this
detail.

Well, Rolf is not this list ...

@Rolf: I guess we (the Lenya commiters) don't have write access to the
Kupu repository at CodeSpeak. Could you be so kind as to check in the
patch to pageassets2kupulibrary.xsl from
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33661 and let me know
when you've done it. I would then check in the updated usecase that
relys on this.

@All: I can understand that the /kupu subtree should not be in the Lenya
repository, but should the /kupu/apache-lenya folder be in the Kupu
repository? These are Lenya artifacts and as we see now they should be
in sync with Lenya.

Regards,
Torsten

I think I have access as well, but haven't tried for quite some time.

But anyway wouldn't it make sense to add all Lenya committers to this
directory. With WebDAV permissions it shouldn't be a problem, but I am
not sure anymore whether CodeSpeak is using WebDAV or not for giving
permissions.

Thanks

Michi

Could you let me know when you've done it. I guess I am not subsribed to
any notification.

It should be in there, in the 'lenya' directory, but since Rolf Kulemann
maintains that directory I think it would make sense to ask him what to
do, and where to put it exactly.

Cheers,

Guido
